A fun, family-friendly photography adventure through the colourful streets, beach, promenade and hidden corners of Llandudno.
Designed for curious children and their grown-ups, this relaxed outdoor adventure invites you to become explorers, searching for bright colours, interesting textures, playful patterns and hidden details that most people simply walk past.
Using a camera, or a smartphone, you'll complete a series of creative challenges that encourage observation, imagination and teamwork while discovering just how colourful the world can be.
There are no right or wrong photographs, no previous experience needed and absolutely no pressure. Every explorer will notice different things, and that's exactly what makes the adventure so enjoyable.
Colour Quest isn't about taking perfect photographs, it's about spending time together, being curious, slowing down and creating memories during the school holidays in Llandudno.

Who Can Join?
- Ideal for children aged approximately 5 - 15 years
- Families are encouraged to take part together (Parent/Guardian will need to accompany the young explorer)
- No photography experience is needed
- Cameras, phones and tablets (prefer a pencil and sketchbook? No problem) are all welcome
- Don't have a camera? Use one of ours (may need to share).
Your Explorer's Kit
- Camera, phone or tablet (pencils and a sketchbook are fine too)
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Clothing suitable for the weather
- A packed lunch and drink. We will be finding a picnic spot to explore.
- A sense of curiosity
- Plenty of imagination

Before We Set Off
- Parent or guardian participation is required.
- The adventure takes place outdoors around Llandudno.
- We'll walk at a relaxed pace with regular stops.
- We'll go ahead in most weather conditions BUT if it’s really bad we can get creative in the photographic studio
- Please dress appropriately for the forecast.
